The unique Flame Throwing ignition provides a simple and reliable ignition by "shooting" a flame to the burners, making startup a breeze. "I bought this grill 7 years ago. I have really worked this grill. When I say that I BBQ over 100 times a year on this grill. It has never let me down. Holds temps like a top of the line oven. Actually better than my Blue Star oven. The only thing I haven't used on it is the searing burner. Just a preference. I have done countless amounts of Jerk Chicken on this grill with exceptional results. Once a year in the fall I do a total take down cleaning. This year two of the brackets that hold up the searing plate broke where the bolt holds is in place. Looks like the heat has weakened the metal. And one of the bolts is stripped. Only the bolt not the tap. other than that for over 700 grills this has to be the GOAT of all BBQs."
