Marketing Promotions Manager

Full-time

We are seeking experienced, motivated, and conscientious individuals to fill a full-time position at Spotix Inc., a leader in outdoor living products (Hearth, Patio, & BBQ). We are a rapidly growing e-commerce company located in North Liberty, Iowa. We value personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. This is a salaried full-time position.The Marketing Promotions Manager is responsible for increasing sales through planning and managing promotional campaigns to promote Spotix's brands, products, and programs. Managing this element in the company's overall marketing program, the Promotions Manager works closely with other members of the marketing team to determine the role for promotions within the company's overall marketing strategy.

Core Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Develop the overall company promotional strategy for all Spotix brands in alignment with market trends and customer needs. The promotional strategy and plan should ensure consistent and timely coordination of campaigns across email, advertising, social media, and other promotional programs as applicable.
  • Determine the type of promotional offer that would be most effective for each of Spotix's target audiences. Interpret marketing insights to speak directly to the needs of consumers and business customers with quality, targeted, and detailed marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Develop specific campaign briefs to outline the creative theme for campaigns, campaign objectives, messaging priority, and offers. Work with designers and writers inside Spotix and in partner agencies to ensure quality execution of campaign creative.
  • Work with digital and creative marketing peers for collaboration and execution across different activities and channels.
  • Establish and meet company and brand specific brand awareness, engagement, and sales goals for campaigns.
  • Monitor, measure and evaluate sales and other performance metrics of brands to inform promotional plans and priorities.
  • Establish schedules covering design, development, production, and distribution of campaign material to meet launch dates.
  • Identify campaign costs and allocate budgets to each program.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and sales to ensure campaigns are fully aligned with sales goals and operational ability to fulfill.
  • Create, implement & continually improve marketing cost-share programs with manufacturer brands to maximize effectiveness of Spotix' marketing dollars.
  • Use feedback from previous campaign results, customers and brand partners to modify future promotional campaigns.
  • Assure that all marketing campaigns and programs are in compliance with regulations and sales solicitation policies.

You’re a great candidate if you have:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of successful experience in marketing and promotions, with proven results
  • B.B.A in marketing or advertising, or equivalent experience
  • A track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives
  • Strong creative, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently without significant supervision
  • Possess a marketing and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes and varied marketing platforms

Product Specialist - Sales

We are seeking motivated and conscientious individuals to fill a full-time position at Spotix Inc., a leader in outdoor living products (Hearth, Patio & BBQ). We are a rapidly-growing E-Commerce company located in North Liberty, Iowa. Product specialists must have the ability to manage multi-faceted outdoor living projects with varying degrees of requirements. This position is responsible for answering in-bound phone calls & online “live” chats. You must demonstrate enthusiasm for the position while maintaining productivity goals and meeting quality, sales, and customer service standards. We put a premium on personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are a must. This is a salaried full-time position. Hours of work are Monday-Friday (8a -5p), no weekends required.

Our Mission: To build a Customer Solutions team that rivals eCommerce giants like Amazon, Wayfair, and Zappos in our effectiveness to prevent and solve customer concerns in a friendly and timely manner.

Product Specialist - Sales Essential Job Functions:

  • Handle call flow without rest between calls
  • Consistent use of a computer and multiple programs
  • Promotes, sells and upsells current customers and prospective customers
  • Ability to multi-task while handling customer calls/chats
  • Professional email etiquette, strong written (typing) skills and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to educate or guide customers through product mix based on needs
  • Facilitate vendor relations via effective verbal/non-verbal communication
  • Previous sales experience in an inbound “warm lead” environment a plus
  • Effectively communicate order status on topics such as back-ordered, out of stock merchandise, tracking information
  • Monitor product innovations and competitors’ products/services
  • Provide prospective customers and current customers with quotes/product drawings, etc.
  • Confident and engaging personality

Job Requirements:

Sit/stand for 8+ hours/day, Consultative sales style, Customer Service, communication, process follow-through and development, procedural troubleshooting, computer literacy, responsibility, efficiency & personal/time management.
